3ds/2ds Guide
Requirements:
-A modded (new) 3ds/2ds with the latest version of Godmode9.
-A cartridge (eShop copy does not work) of your chosen romhack’s base game. (Omega Ruby for Glowing Garnet, for example)
-A PC or other device to run an XDelta patching program.
-NOTE: All 3ds/2ds romhacks must be played on 1.0 of the base game, do not install updates. (eg. for Glowing Garnet you must be on Omega Ruby 1.0 not 1.4)
-Download the XDelta patch (from the Ecnoid’s Romhacks Discord) and the patching software (found here).
-On a modded 3ds/2ds system hold start while turning on the device, this will launch Godmode9.
-In Godmode9, select gamecart, then the ”.trim” file, NCSD options and finally, Build CIA from file.
This will begin dumping a copy of your ROM, wait until it’s finished to continue.
-On your device running the delta patching software (PC, mac, etc), insert your 3ds/2ds SD card (you may need an adapter for this) and navigate to the “gm9″ folder, then the ”out” folder.
This folder contains the dumped ROM, copy it to somewhere on your internal storage (desktop, documents folder, etc).
(This can help prevent issues with patching.)
-Now, open the XDelta patcher and load your dumped .cia ROM into the ”original file” box. Then, load the XDelta patch into the “XDelta Patch” box and press ”Apply Patch”.
-This should apply the patch to the dumped ROM, it doesn’t create a new file.
This .cia file can be installed to Citra, the 3ds emulator for Windows or a 3ds/2ds system using FBI.

Switch Guide
-Download The .rar patch of the desired romhack from the Ecnoid’s Romhacks Discord, for Pokémon Shining Sword this patch is found on aDrive’s website.
-Extract the ”Atmosphere” folder from the .rar, this can be done using WinRAR or another archive manager on PC/Mac etc.
-Place the ”Atmosphere” folder on the root of your modded Switch’s SD card such that it merges with the pre-existing Atmosphere folder.
-Place the SD card back in your Switch and start the base game your chosen romhack is based on, the Atmosphere patch should take effect.
NOTE:
-For Shining Sword: Make sure that you have Sword update 1.3.0 or higher and the DLC installed. Enjoy!
-For What’s Up: Version does not matter. Enjoy!
Requirements for Switch and Yuzu:
-A modded Switch with Atmosphere.
-The base game for the chosen romhack Physically or digitally.
Yuzu emulator Guide
Playing on Yuzu is only legal when you dump your own ROMs and key files, you are responsible for this.
-Download The .rar patch of the desired romhack from the Ecnoid’s Romhacks Discord, for Pokémon Shining Sword this patch is found on aDrive’s website.
-Extract the ”Atmosphere” folder from the .rar, this can be done using WinRAR or another archive manager on PC/Mac etc.
-Inside the “Atmosphere” folder there is a folder named “contents”, inside this folder is “0100ABF008968000”. Change the name of the “0100ABF008968000” folder to name of the romhack, for example: “Shining Sword”.
-in Yuzu right-click your game and “Open Mod Data Location”. Place the romhack name folder, for example, “Shining Sword” here.
-Your file structure should now be: yuzu\load\0100ABF008968000\Shining Sword\RomFs(etc).
NOTE:
-For Shining Sword: Make sure that you have Sword update 1.3.0 or higher and the DLC installed on Yuzu. Enjoy!
-For What’s Up: Version does not matter. Enjoy!
